Special Entrance Exam to 3rd Level Colleges

Several colleges throughout the country hold a Special Entrance Examination in Mathematics in mid August, after the Leaving Cert results are out. The purpose of such examinations is to provide applicants with a second chance to achieve the minimum mathematics entry requirements to specific courses, provided they have meet all other requirements.

Each college has its own requirements so contact the relevant college to make an application to sit such an examination if it is a case that you do not meet the mathematics requirement, but otherwise satisfy entry requirements for your chosen course.
